The Bliskie Stawy route covers the following points: 1. Railway Station in Tu?owice, 2. Hutnik Pond – since 1792 the final communication route for floatage of timber and coal peat obtained from the Tu?owice forests. The route leads through the floatage ditches and the ?cinawa River to the steelworks in Popiele. Presently, the pond surface area is around 20 ha. Hutnik Pond is first of all a place willingly visited by anglers. 3. Tu?owice Ma?e – a hamlet of Tu?owice famous for iron works formerly called “Popió?” (Cinder), in 1822 renamed as “Teresa”. Nowadays, there is a cast iron foundry – “Ekopol Opolski”. 4. Olszowy Pond (Alder Pond) – around the pond there is an extensive alder forest, called the alder carr, which is in part the remnant of the former Niemodli?ska Primeval Forest. That type of forest is typified by plants liking acid substratum: spinolose woodfern, chickweed wintergreen, different varieties of sedge. 5. Stadium of KS Unia Tu?owice
