The Stobrawsko-Turawskie Woods protected landscape area was established in 1988. It comprises the northern part of the Opolskie province and covers a total area of 118 367 ha, less than 5 % of which is located in the Domaszowice municipality. The border of the protected area extends in the municipality from Duczów Ma?y to Wielo??ka. From there along the road west towards Domaszowice and further south-west towards Siemys?ów as far as the road that leads to Gr?boszów. Then along this road it goes west to the border of the woodland/forest complex and along the wood-field border to the Gr?boszów-Domaszowice road. Then along this road through Gr?boszów to the Namys?ów-Kluczbork railway line and along the railway track west to the woodland border. The woods in the protected landscape area belong to areas with the most valuable flora in the province. This is primarily a result of their high forestation rate.
