The name of this herring dish was invented many years ago. A couple of friends were spending their holidays in the area. Having tasted the dish, they agreed that they had never eaten such delicious herrings. One on them suggested calling the dish “Skorochów style Antonina’s herrings” and entering the dish in culinary competitions. To the surprise of the authoress of the recipe, the dish won the third prize in district competition “Agrotourism delicacies of the Nysa District”
