Detailed description:

Lenarcice was founded in the 13th century and owned by the local gentry, among others by the families of Fullstein, Haugwitz, Sedlnicki, Skrbe?ski, and also Oppersdorf from Oberglogau (G?ogówek). In Lenarcice there is a classical castle orangery erected by the Sedlnickis – now in ruins. Once exotic flowers and palms were grown here. On the Czech side, in Linhartovem, past the Z?ota Opawa river there is a Renaissance castle built by the Haugwitz family from Biskupice in 1660. Formerly the castle was surrounded by a 10 ha park, remains of which are visible both at the Polish and Czech riverside. A tacit witness of local events is the 800-year-old oak which grows near the castle in the Czech Republic. Estates on both sides of the border are joined by a stone bridge once crossed by carriages of the Sedlnicki and Oppersdorf families.
