When tourists come here, it is rarely by chance. Maybe that is for the better because that makes Pluderskie Ponds retain their character of a wild nature enclave. Some ponds, together with the surrounding forests, are included in the Kocia Góra Nature and Landscape Complex. All of them, however, deserve attention and protection not only because of their lush plant life, but also due to the high number of animal species living there. These include the crane, the black stork, and the tree frog, an increasingly rare occurrence near Polish water bodies.
