Manor park with palace ruins
70 ha landscape park (out of which 57 ha are part of the estate), created from of the old forest. In the park there are 10 ponds, including the biggest and the most beautiful, located directly in front of the palace, in which there is an island. In the park there are many romantic buildings, such as, for example, the neoclassical Temple of Muses, artificially built ruins of a medieval castle; in one wing of the park there is a magnificent chapel; next to the bridge – a shrine with a statute of St Christopher and many, many more. In the 100-150 year old forest of the landscape park many natural monuments may be found. Those are, for example, 7 common oaks which are 250-500 years old. The most impressive of them is called “Great-grandfather”, estimated to be over 500 years old and of 720 cm diameter at chest height. Moreover, there is a small-leaved linden with six joined trunks (504 cm girth) and a broad-leaved linden growing next to the road (370 cm diameter at chest height) and a Norway spruce (300 cm).
