Palace Park in Janów
The palace park in Janów is situated North of the outbuildings complex. In the North it borders on a road from ?osiów to Olszanka. Initially, it was a nature and landscape park. Today, there are no more landscape features which means that the design of the park had been changed later in its history. There are 17 tree species and 5 shrub species. Among the more interesting ones are the sweet chestnut and the pedunculate oak of the columnar variety. On a comparatively small area there are tree stands of different species and ages. The oldest specimens are from 130 to 180 years old. The biggest age group is the one of 80-year-old trees with the predominance of hornbeams, horse-chestnuts, and black locust. The park is part of the village and constitutes a vital greenery area there.
