Detailed description:
The village was founded in the second half of the 13th century. It belonged to the Opole Duchy and later on to the local gentry. The palace was built after 1758 by Baron von Gruttschreiber. It is a Baroque palace with a nice front elevation and an internal square courtyard. Formerly, it was owned by the families of von Herberstein, Hencel von Donnersmarck, now the palace houses the Social Welfare Centre. To the north of it, there is a landscape park.
