This vegetable and meat dish consists of homogenous potato and cabbage pulp with visible darker bits of grated carrots and golden brown cracklings of pork fat and bacon. The dish is served with ribs cooked in vegetable stock to accentuate the delicate flavour. Pa??kraut was served on weekdays, mainly in winter.
