We do not know exactly when the Baroque manor house was built south of the town behind the M?ynówka stream and when the beautiful big landscape park was created. It is believed that its origins date back to the mid-18th century. The landscape park is divided into lanes where people can walk; there are designated areas (benches) where they can rest and recover. The park is a place for meetings and walks for many people of various generations. There is a playground for children nearby as well as an amphitheatre – a venue of various meetings and cultural events. At the moment, the Land Use Plans of the Gorzów ?l?ski Municipality contain a restructuring project for the park together with the amphitheatre and the playground (in Gorzo?ki Street). The project is entitled: “Gorzów ?l?ski, Town Park – a Green Gym”. The whole area from Gorzo?ki Street through the park, and then as far as Chopin Street will be a place when children, teenagers and adults will be able to have a walk, rest and relax in an active manner. The project includes a basketball court that will be turned into an ice-rink in winter; next to it will be a football pitch and beach volleyball court; a unique element will be a skatepark, and the whole area will be surrounded by an obstacle course for cyclists and joggers. Further down the park there will be tables and chairs for chess players as well as table tennis facilities – everything will be fixed to the ground. Slightly younger inhabitants (and not only they) will be able to use a special area where they will be allowed to make chalk drawings and play hopscotch. The entire ground will be surrounded by lanes for walkers and cyclists. Everyone will be able to rest on new benches and the greenery will make the leisure more pleasant. The present playground and amphitheatre will be modernised and thoroughly renovated.
