Its basin covers an area of 2 037 km2 and its total length is 131 km. Ma?a Panew is the largest watercourse in the municipality and has a big influence on the climate in adjacent areas. The river flows through the southern part of the municipality near the villages of Kolanowice, Biadacz and Luboszyce. The river bed has been regulated but in many places it has preserved a near-natural character. Canoeing is possible from the Turawskie Lake to the villages of Kolanowice and Luboszyce.
