Le?na Woda nature reserve

The Le?na Woda nature reserve is situated in the Brzeg Forest Division, in the Brzeg district, municipality of Lubsza, on the Ole?nica Plain, and covers an area of 20.94 ha.
The Le?na Woda nature reserve was established by a regulation of the Minister of Forestry and Timber Industry of 4 February 1958 (MP No. 11). It is situated approx. 1 km north of Le?na Woda on the border with the Lower Silesia province, on the western edge of the wood, next to the Bystrzyca-Wójcice forest road, in sections 27 and 59. It covers an area of 20.94 ha. In the reserve one can encounter the Galio odorati-Fagenion and Tilio cordatae-Carpinetum betuli. The legally protected tree stand includes natural monuments and old imposing beeches. Protected plant species occurring in the reserve include the sweet woodruff, lily-of-the-valley, common ivy, martagon lily and glossy buckthorn. The Le?na Woda reserve was established to protect a natural mature mixed forest with a large community of the European larch. The trees are up to 160 years old.
