The Musical Autumn is one of the oldest events both in Grodków and in our province. At the time of establishment it used to be compared with the Jarocin festival or Warsaw “Mokotów Autumn”. It was the place of stage debuts of such Polish bands as Lady Punk or TSA. Now, the event is of international nature. The last event was attended, apart from bands from around Poland, by bands from the Czech Republic, Austria and Italy. The three day festival consists of two competition days, during which each of the bands presents its 30 minute long programme. The third day is made by concerts of the competition winners and invited stars. 20 bands take part in the festival. Their selection is made on the basis of the “demo” materials received.
