The Opolski Golf Club is an Association and has been a full member of the Polish Golf Association in Warsaw since 2003. Under its Articles of Association, the club’s primary function is to promote golf. It organises training sessions for all who are willing to learn the sport. In 2005, the association launched an initiative called “Golf in your high-school” – a 6-hour training session during which high-school students from Strzelce Opolskie discovered golf. There are also other events such as: 1. The beginning of season – a one-week-long golf training trip to Tunisia 2. Golf promotion – weekend trips to golf courses in Kraków and Silherovice. 3. Club golf tournaments for the Club Champion Cup (10 tournaments in 2005) 4. Corporate team building events in the golf academy 5. The “End of Season” tournament with awards given according to the season’s rating.
