Ba?abuszkas belong in the category of rural produce called “Ready-made dishes”. Directions: 1. boil potatoes, press them and cool down; 2. prepare yeast dough and leave it for rising; 3. prepare filling of potatoes, fried onion and finely cut dill; 4. fill the small yeast pies with stuffing as in dumplings; 5. fry in deep oil or bake in an oven. Ba?abuszkas are served with cream-garlic sauce. Women from the Rural Housewives Association in Kazimierz present ba?abuszkas at exhibitions, displays and markets/fairs. They organise baking demonstrations, tasting shows and popularise baking recipes.
