Chrósty Horse Stud
The farm lies on the edge of the Racibórz forests in a very quiet place (on the boundary of the Wronin-Maciowakrze Protected Landscape Area). Access from Polska Cerekiew (the Opole-Racibórz route) or Paw?owiczki (the K?dzierzyn-G?ubczyce route). The stud is situated along the road between Ligota Ma?a and Chrósty. A definite asset of the farm is the contact it offers with horses - starting with very young foals through adult steeds to retired mounts - excellent teachers for horse-riding novices. The horse-riding courses are run by fully qualified instructors. The stud accepts horses for guest box stays, mares for foaling and foals for rearing. In the event of bad weather and in winter instruction takes place on an indoor manège. For more advanced riders there is cross-country. The stud’s driveways are lined with fruit trees - between June and November guests can pick black cherries, cherries, ordinary plums, mirabelle plums, a few varieties of apples, pears, hazelnuts and walnuts as well as quinces. The nearby forests abound in mushrooms (honey mushrooms, the Boletus badius, parasol mushrooms). In winter there are sleigh rides, and starting in the spring picnics, bonfires and trips in a buggy or horse-drawn carriage.
