The smallest village in the municipality can be proud of its very interesting and complicated history. It was founded in the middle of forests which proved so resistant (or spórne in the local dialect) to clearing that the village was called Spórok. For a time a border between two districts, Opolski and Strzelecki, ran through the village. This is commemorated by the so-called border bridge located at the exit from the village towards Krasiejów.
