G?ucho?azy Municipality – Jarno?tówek, Pokrzywna
10-kilometre trail called “Along the Z?oty Potok Gorge".
The blue trail (route No. 8) from Jarno?tówek to the village of Pokrzywna leading over the top of Olszak, starts at the bus stop in Jarno?tówek. Before the bridge over the Z?oty Potok stream, hikers turn to a path leading along the bank of the stream. This is where the environmental education trail “From Jarno?tówek to the Rozdro?e Pod Piekie?kiem crossroads” begins. Further on the trail continues among rock projections called Karolinki offering a beautiful view over the Dolina Z?otego Potoku valley. Then hikers climb up towards the Olszak mountains passing by the “Dewon” quarry and the vicinity of G?ucho?azy. On entering the forest, tourists reach an old excavation site called ?abie Oczko and descend to the village of Pokrzywna. The trail affords attractive views of the quarry and the vicinity of G?ucho?azy and the Biskupia Kopa mountain. The trail is 5 kilometres long. Further on the blue trail (route No. 9) leading from the village of Pokrzywna to Jarno?tówek through the Gwarkowa Per? quarry. The trail starts parallel with the red and yellow trails. Hikers climb up the slopes of the Biskupia Kopa mountain into Prudnicki Forest. Then the trail continues over the top of the Olszak massif, along the Saperska Droga path and the Dolina Bystrego Potoku valley. Passing by the old ski-jump and after crossing the stream, it reaches an old quarry called Gwarkowa Per?. The trail runs steeply below the rocks on phyllite slabs. Here hikers have to climb up a ladder secured vertically to a rock precipice. The hike reaches a fork of the hiking trails called the Rozdro?e pod Piekie?kiem crossroads and then continues through the Karliki rock exposures to end in Jarno?tówek. The trail affords splendid views of the Góra Parkowa mountain as well as the Rychleby Mountains.
