Located in the centre of the centuries-old forest of Motovun in the valley of the river Mirna, Livade is known as the centre of the famous white Istrian truffle.

Over the last few years, in October Livade is turning into a vivid market place, the only one of this kind in Croatia. "Truffle days" offer an exceptional opportunity to learn more about highly appreciated sorts of wine, olive oil, cheese, hone, herb brandies and other authentic products of this region. The most representative samples of "The king of the Fair" - the Istrian white truffle will be valuated and rewarded by experts, and placed on public auction.
