Svetvincenat, Savicenta, Sanvincenti - three names tor the same locality is a settlement of urban and rural characeristics, located on the old asphalted Pula-Svetvin?enat-Pazin road. In fact it was St. Vincent, a Hispanic martyr and the mediaeval abbey of the same name, after whom the village was named. There are various reasons for its attractiveness. The town's square, popular Placa, the parish church of Mary's Annunciation and Grimani Castle is only one of them.
