The 1832 manor in Stary Bugaj stands to this day, despite the fact that the huge building shows signs of considerable wear. The manor has an interesting history. Already before WWI the house impressed with the beauty of its façade and garden kept in perfect condition. However, after 1918 the estate was parcelled out and the manor owners left. In 1945 the administrator was shot dead by Soviet soldiers who accused him of hiding Germans in the cellars.
