The Great Florian Concerts have been organised in the ruins of the 17th-century Oppersdorf castle in Polska Cerekiew since 2001. They are classical music concerts with symphonic orchestras, soloists and choirs. Several theatrical performances have been staged here as well. During the Great Florian Concerts ”Gold Florians” – honorary statuettes – are awarded to persons in recognition of their achievements in promoting the municipality of Polska Cerekiew in the area of culture, sport, self-government or entrepreneurial activity.
