On 4 April 2003, the grand opening of the sports complex at the School Complex in Tu?owice took place. The complex comprises of: - a gym (36 m x 20 m), - a swimming pool (size: 25 m x 10 m depth: 1.10 m – 1.80 m), - fitness room, - sauna. Moreover, the facility houses a bar and a café and rooms providing social facilities for students on practice. The building of the sports hall with the swimming pool is an example of interesting architectural solutions, as the sports hall is located above the swimming pool, whereas under the swimming pool there are storehouses, locker rooms, a bodybuilding gym, and social facilities. Apart from the educational function, the newly created facility is available for all people, interested in their own health and physical development.
