Sudicki District international cycle route

designation:

G?ubczycki Plateau – near Kietrz

short description:

Sudicki District international cycle route

detailed description:

This several kilometre long section of the cycle route in the Kietrz municipality is a fragment of a longer cycle route, connecting Kietrz with the Racibórz District and the Czech Republic. The route is called "Sudicky okruh", ("Sudicki District") as it starts right in Sudice – a borderline Czech district town which was the initiator of the route and arranged for it to be financed from the EU funds. The route runs from Sudice through Trebom. Kietrz is the first stop on the Polish side. From here tourists may enter the Racibórz district: East of Pietrowice Wielkie and south of Pietraszyn. A connection with another Polish-Czech route, open in summer, running through Branice, is planned in the future. A part of the cycle route is already accessible for cyclists.
