Buzet is a charming istrian townlet with about 2000 inhabitants, which has developed next to the source of the Mirna River at the site site of a prehistoric hill fort and ancient Roman Pinquentum. In this old part of Buzet, every September on the Nativity of the Virgin of Buzet turn into a historic stage. This is an excellent way to see or take part in a variety of ethno-work-shops of ancient crafts likes carpenters, coopers, shoemakers, tailors, comb-makers, basket-weavers, wavers, oil producer and pharmacists or simply choose one of Istrian homemade specialities likes maneštra, fuži, truffles dishes, boneless pork loin ombolo, sausages and many other irrestible delicacies.
