designation:
D?brówka Górna
short description:
When one leaves the palace in D?brówka, the last thing they will see is the statue of St. John of Nepomuk from 1719 standing by the road.
Detailed description:
The statue is resting on a plinth with the coat of arms cartouche of the founder, Wac?aw Leonard Józef Rogoyski. He was accused by the locals of killing his brother, a co-owner of D?brówka (who in fact committed suicide). As St. John of Nepomuk is not only the patron of good confession, but also of good name, he was supposed to protect the founder of the statue from slanders and ungrounded allegations.
