A traditional afternoon feast in Silesia is called swaczyna and is always accompanied by coffee and a round cake. Its role in Gogolin is to crown all the cultural and artistic achievements in the municipality. It is officially opened by the Mayor of Gogolin. The artistic part of swaczyna is filled with many performances by various music and dance folklore groups. The feast strengthens and promotes beautiful Silesian traditions.
