Rogalice nature reserve

The Rogalice nature reserve is situated in the Brzeg Forest Division, in the Brzeg district, municipality of Lubsza, on the Ole?nica Plain, and covers an area of 6.06 ha.
The Rogalice nature reserve was established by a regulation of the Minister of Forestry and Timber Industry of 20 June1969 (MP No. 36, item 290). It is situated about 1.5 km east of Raciszów, on the Pijawka river; it is easily accessible via the green trail from Ksi??kowice to Borucice. The reserve was established to protect the well-preserved alder and ash riparian woodland. The tree stand is represented by spruces, alders, hornbeam, sycamores and beeches. The undergrowth contains such species as giant fescue, touch-me-not balsam and yellow archangel. A characteristic element of the reserve is the nine-leaved toothwort that flowers in the spring. The reserve is to protect a fragment of the Dentario enneaphylli-Fagetum and alder and ash riparian woodland that have valuable species in their undergrowth, e.g. the nine-leaved toothwort.
