The ?miechowice nature reserve was established by the regulation No. A-85 of the Minister of Forestry and Timber Industry of 17 September 1952 (MP No. A-85, item 1349). It is located on the northern side of the ?miechowice-Kurznie road; 1.5 km from the crossroads in ?miechowice. It covers an area of 0.5 ha. The objective of the establishment of the reserve was to preserve, for scientific and educational purposes, the ecological form of the larch (Larix sudetica) in fragments of a natural larch woodland.
