The P?u?nica Reserve (Strzelce Opolskie Municipality) was established in order to protect a fragment of natural mixed forest. There is only one habitat type: Melico –Fagetum.
detailed description:
The reserve is a beech, pine and spruce forest of the fertile lowland beech type. In addition to dominant species, there are also European hornbeams, pedunculate oaks, and silver birches. The undergrowth is home to bilberries and early dog-violets, among others.
