Home-made sausage is a product from the group: fresh meat and meat products. In section, the mixed ingredients of which it is made are visible. The cylindrical, bent at the ends shape forms sausages by twisting the intestine. Length – around 20 cm, diameter – 2 to 3 cm. Flavour – salty with a perceptible large amount of seasonings. Aromatic scent of meat, dominating fragrance of garlic. Home-made sausage is a traditional Silesian product made in villages during pig slaughtering. Women from the Silesian Women Association in Mionów organise tasting of home-made sausage, promote its production recipe and the interested people may taste the scents and flavours of a traditional pig slaughtering.
