Painting and sculpture plein-air workshop in Uroczysko.

designation:

Ozimek – Dylaki Municipality

short description:

Painting and sculpture plein-air workshop organised in Uroczysko, an agritourism farm.

detailed description:

This place was created by an artist with artists in mind. It is an enclave for visual artists, photographers, painters, and sculptors, but also for everyone who appreciates the peace and quiet. Away for the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this is no place for hurrying; there is no room for clichés here. Jan Wajrach, the host, is a renowned sculptor. Each year, he turns Uroczysko into a plein-air workshop of sculpture, painting, and photography. Uroczysko does not live by art only, though. It is also sustained by the famous home-made meals prepared by Iwona, the host’s wife. Those who yearn to explore the forest paths of the Stobrawskie Woods can use the service of a bicycle rental. There is certainly a lot to visit around. The place is a stone’s throw from Lake Turawskie, and the angling ponds in Poliwoda are even closer. There is the trail of the Wooden Churches nearby, and a hundred-year-old mill with the still active archaic lumber mill in Dylaki.
