International young pianist competitions are staged by the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Music School in G?ubczyce. Ranked among the three most prestigious festivals for children and teenagers in Poland, the festival is listed in the calendar of International and National Art Education events of the first and second level. The competition is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Until 2006 festivals took place every three years. Starting from 2007, they will be held every two years.
