Parks are mainly of ecological and cultural value

:

The former is associated with the impact of woody plants on the climate and water cycle in adjacent areas and, consequently, with the improvement of agricultural as well as hygienic and health conditions. Parks are also habitats for beneficial birds and other animals, and numerous species of forest flora. In addition, parks have a cultural value – they are an important element of landscape, especially in the countryside. They demonstrate the ways of ordering space and express the tastes of past generations. Manor and palace parks in the municipality can be found in: Biskupice (2.42 ha), Ciecierzyn (2.83 ha), Dobiercice (3.24 ha), Go?kowice (18.15 ha), Jakubowice (3.41 ha), Koch?owice (2.80 ha), Koch?owice (2.80 ha), Kostów (3.85 ha), Miechowa (2.66 ha), Nasale (1.30 ha), Paruszowice (2.09 ha), Pro?lice (2.00 ha), Pszczonki (1.04 ha) and Roszkowice (3.30 ha). In the majority of parks one will find mature forest growth and numerous valuable foreign species, including tree of heaven, Amur cork tree, Douglas fir or the rare pin oak. The town park in Byczyna is located next to the 15-16th century town walls. The tree stand is dominated by small leaved lime. The main compositional axis is an alley that runs alongside the park parallel to the walls. There is a moat in the north-eastern part of the park, and at the park’s entrance stands a monument dedicated to the victims of the Second World War. All the above mentioned parks are conservation areas.
