Forest Nature Reserve "Krzywiczyny"

The "Krzywiczyny" Forest Nature Reserve is located in the municipality of Wo?czyn.
Nature reserves, according to the Environmental Protection Act, are the areas encompassing natural or slightly changed ecosystems, particular animal and plant species, inanimate objects of considerable scientific, cultural, landscape and didactic value. With an area of 19.70 ha, it forms part of a mixed forest, which contains a 126-year-old fir stand. The 130-150-year-old specimens of the Silver Fir Abies Alba growing in the reserve constitute the northernmost natural fir stand. Apart from the firs there are also Scots pines, Norway spruces, pedunculate oaks, common hornbeams, European larches and European beeches. The first reach heights of 45 m and perimeters of over 3 m.
