Rozumicki Forest
Rozumice (located on the G?ubczycki Plateau).
The natural reserve covers an area of 98 ha and features 171 plant species, including 7 protected species.
A partial forest reserve was created in 2000 in order to protect the leafy forest “of natural features with protected and rare species in the undergrowth”. The forest is in good condition, features species diversity and undisturbed arrangement of layers. In the reserve, there are plenty of mushrooms: boletus scaber, champignons and boletus cyanescens. The forest is home to many animals: roe deer, wild boars, foxes and hares, owls, woodpeckers, cuckoos, tits, buzzards. Within the area of the reserve one can distinguish: - ash forest - ash and elm riparian forest - dry-ground forest - mixed forest - oak and birch forest Flora of the reserve counts 171 plant species, including 7 protected species (e.g. Hacquetia epipactis).
