The trail comprises the most interesting monuments in Byczyna

:

The trail starts before the entrance to the Public Secondary School in Byczyna in Borkowska Street. It then passes the town’s amphitheatre and stadium, and the fire brigade headquarters. It goes on through the park in the middle of which stands a monument commemorating the victory of Hetman Jan Zamojski over the Habsburg Archduke Maximilian in 1588. Visitors to the park can carry out tests using the Lichen Scale. The scale has been adapted to enable field measurements of air pollution by sulphur dioxide. Further along the trail the visitors can see the Polish Gate tower which is within the town walls and is one of the three extant towers in Byczyna. The trail then goes through plac Wolno?ci [Freedom Square] with a Gothic Lutheran church from the 14th century, and the market square with a Baroque town hall from the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries. Next to the town hall stands a magnificent small leaved lime – one of the natural monuments in the Byczyna Municipality. From the market square the trails leads north to Szpitalna Street, then via Okr??na Street to the Lutheran church and down the stairs to the moat. The trail continues towards the town ponds and to the water treatment plant in Byczyna. It then leads through November 11th Street and Klonowa Street to the railway station. Further points along the trail are: a Gothic cemetery chapel from the 16th century; a gate tower in the west, the so-called German, part of the town; a neo-Gothic granary from the 19th century; and the Sand Tower. The last site on the trail is the Sand Pit in Byczyna where the visitors can observe an exposed soil profile.
