Manor in a park

designation:

Gorzów ?l?ski

short description:

Brick and plastered building, with a fragmented structure, tiles-covered wooden roof with attic and garrets. The manor and the park come from the second half of the 18th century.

Detailed description:

We do not know exactly when the Baroque manor house was built south of the town behind the M?ynówka stream If its origins are believed to be in the mid-18th century, then it must have been built by someone from the Ozorowski family. Among all the owners of Gorzów, the Ozorowskis were the closest to the town. After the estate was parcelled out the palace was turned into a nursing home for the elderly. After World War II, in the late 1950s, the palace housed one of the wards of the Olesno hospital presided over by the senior registrar Bogdan ?wisulski. When a new hospital was opened in Olesno, the ward was closed down. At present the manor and the park are in private hands.
