Women from the Silesian Women Association of the village of Walce prepare within the Easter period kroszonkas, which are a decoration of the Easter table. Kroszonkas are made with two methods: the batik method consisting in painting cooked eggs with patterns, and then dying them in a paint bath; the engraving method consisting in dying cooked eggs in a paint bath and then decorating them with patterns with the use of a burin. Kroszonkas, small masterpieces of handcraft are consumed during Easter.
