The D?bowa Reservoir is a recreation complex located at the edge of an artificial water reservoir covering the area of about 94 ha. It was created at the site of the sand and gravel pit, resources excavated there between 1950s and 1986 by the Opolean Aggregate Exploitation Plant. In some places the edges are overgrown with reed and wicker. During the exploitation of mineral resources another large reservoir was created, but it has been partly filled up. The water in the D?bowa Reservoir’s is grade II, suitable for bathing. There are a few beaches there, including guarded beaches. In the vicinity of the reservoir there are guesthouses, snack bars, car parks, boat hire service, sports grounds and a tennis court. Along the reservoir’s shore runs a walking and cycling route.
