Cycling and walking trail that is 7 km long and takes 4-6 hours to complete
A cycling and walking trail that is 7 km long and takes 4-6 hours to complete. It starts at a woodland car park in precinct 197 of the Rogalice Forest Division. In the car park there is a board with a map of the forest division pointing out nature reserves, car parks, etc., as well as 2 umbrella roofs, benches and tables. Within the car park tourist will find a designated place for bonfire and barbecue, and an information board with a list of actions prohibited in the woodland area. There is also a rubbish container as well as 4 wooden baskets. The trails starts with a map of its course describing its attractions. The trail has been designed in such a way so as to enable people who cannot visit all of it, because of time or disability constraints, to see its most important part that presents general problems associated with forest management, forest and nature protection as well as the multifunctional role of forests. This is why the first part of the trail has more education stations with more boards. The part is 1600 metres long (including the return trip) and takes approx. 1.5-2 hours to complete. The information boards placed further on are thematically related to the economic and natural objects situated there. The entire route is also marked by direction plates. The trail can be further developed: new thematic boards can be added as new natural or economic phenomena occur, the thematic scope can be expanded and the latest news form the life of the forest can be presented, if funds become available.
