Detailed description:

Built in 1607 as a Protestant, late Renaissance church, it has stucco decorations and interesting portals with the coats of arms of its Protestant founders, Jan Krzyd?owski and his wife Ludmi?a. It was a single nave church with a square tower. The nave was covered by a barrel vault with lunette apertures and stucco decorations made of a network of ornamental ribs with rose windows and heart-shaped medallions. As of 1700, the church belonged to the Catholics. Between 1908 and 1911 a chancel and a sacristy were added. Dating back to the time when the church was built, there still is the ornamental entrance portal in the rusticated Renaissance frame bearing the foundation inscription and the Krzyd?owscy coat of arms. From the same period, there are also the stucco decorations on the vault of the nave, the chapel and the vestibule beneath the tower. The decorations are made of faux ribs and stylised leaves.
