The Celebrities’ Horse-riding Championships constitute a big sports and cultural event in which small-screen celebrities compete in three horse-riding disciplines: carriage driving, manège and show jumping. The championships are accompanied by numerous attractions, such as firework displays, fashion shows, military parades, photographic exhibitions, sculpture exhibitions, recitals and concerts. The Celebrities’ Championships constitute the biggest event promoting the K?dzierzyn-Ko?ie district. Every year ca. 80 famous Polish artists participate in it, with a crowd of ca. 10.000 spectators. Reports from the championships appear on the national television, in newspapers and culture and entertainment magazines as well as in all the local media.
