Detailed description:
In the XII century a castle was built on the rocky spur looming over the hamlet of Boccassuolo; today only ruins remain of the ancient building. Rising on the rock is the bell tower of the parish church of Saint Apollinare, rebuilt in Neoclassical style between 1857 and 1863.
