All Saints Church
designation:
Grodków Municipality, Village of Wojs?aw
short description:
Historic All Saints Church.
Detailed description:
The stonewalled Baroque-Renaissance All Saints Church existed here already in the 16th century. Inside the church an interesting exhibit may be seen – a 16th century Late Gothic tabernacle, built in the wall of the chancel. In front of the church there is a stone penitential cross, dating back to the Middle Ages. It was erected by a young man, who, after his wedding ceremony, fired a salute and accidentally killed his just married wife. In Wojs?aw and the vicinity there are two more penitential crosses and shrines.
